Lycia was born and raised in Colorado and grew up in a family of construction workers. As the daughter of a pipe fitter and welder, she learned to weld by middle school and has built on her knowledge of construction and HVAC ever since. Although she is best known for her pink hard hat and girlie style, she is not afraid to get dirty, throw on jeans and hit a job site.

Lycia manages and owns several small businesses in Denver alongside her husband, who has also worked in the construction field. She has a background in business management and marketing, which has made her very successful over the years. Her goal with CSS is to provide superior service and supplies at an exceptional rate. Most important to her is giving back to the community. Lycia has noted, “With the booming construction industry in Colorado, the trades are not seeing the growth with knowledgeable employees.” She would like to educate and share with high school graduates that trades and trade school are just as important as mainstream college. Her goal is to give scholarships to students who decide to go into pipefitting, plumbing, welding and more, and to support them through their education.

Behind the hard hat, she is a mother of two and involved in the school community. When not working, Lycia enjoys spending time with her family, skiing and camping. Many days if you stop by Construction Supply Services, she will have her assistant, Bode, the family pup, with her.
